Estimator / Drafter

Requirement

•⁠ ⁠Minimum education of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 1–3 years of work experience as an Estimator (preferably in [construction/manufacturing/specific project] sector).

•⁠ ⁠Proficient in cost estimation, material take-off, and unit price analysis.

•⁠ ⁠Able to read and understand technical drawings and project specifications.

•⁠ ⁠Skilled in using estimation software such as AutoCAD, SAP, Microsoft Excel, or other relevant tools.

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.

•⁠ ⁠Detail-oriented, meticulous, and capable of working under strict deadlines and targets.

•⁠ ⁠A solid understanding of construction regulations and standards (if related to construction projects).

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in foreign languages is a plus.

Job Description

•⁠ ⁠Analyze and calculate project cost estimates based on specifications, technical drawings, and material requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and Cost Budget Plans (RAB).

•⁠ ⁠Conduct site visits when necessary to gather accurate data for cost estimation.

•⁠ ⁠Compile project cost estimate reports and proposals for submission to management or clients.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with the engineering team, vendors, and contractors to obtain pricing information for materials and services.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure cost estimates comply with company standards, while considering resource efficiency and effectiveness.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor changes in project specifications and revise cost estimates accordingly.

•⁠ ⁠Analyze project risks related to cost estimation and provide risk mitigation recommendations.

•⁠ ⁠Contribute to price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the most competitive rates.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure all cost estimates are in line with applicable regulations and industry standards.

•⁠ ⁠Proactive, solution-oriented, and quick to respond.
